CVA Optima Features The CVA Optima is built around a single shot break open inline action with a neutral center of gravity trigger and an actuated breeching lever the same trigger guard design found on CVA s top of the line Accura. A quick release breech plug simplifies cleaning and maintenance in the field letting hunters break down the action quickly without special tools. The 26 inch fluted 416 stainless steel barrel finished in black nitride with a 1:28 inch twist rate strikes a balance between maneuverability in thick cover and the reach needed for longer shots across open ground. A Picatinny optics rail upgraded from previous Optima generations gives shooters a stable mounting platform for the included scope or other optics. Fit adjustability sets this Optima apart from entry level muzzleloaders with an adjustable comb and two included cheek risers of different heights letting hunters dial in proper eye alignment with their optic. A removable length of pull spacer allows further customization whether layering up for cold weather hunts or fitting the stock to a smaller or newer shooter. A semi vertical grip and ambidextrous palm swell improve trigger control and comfort for shooters of either hand while an ambidextrous hammer spur keeps cocking the action easy from both sides. The CVA Optima Realtree Legacy .50 Caliber package which includes a bore sighted Konus Pro 3-9x40 BDC scope a CrushZone recoil pad and a soft rifle case is for sale at GrabAGun for hunters who want a complete adjustable muzzleloader ready for the field.
