CVA Optima Features The CVA Optima is built around a 26 inch fluted stainless steel barrel finished in black Nitride striking a balance between maneuverability in thick cover and long range performance in open terrain. A 1:28 twist rate is matched to the rifle s intended projectiles and the drilled and tapped steel receiver fitted with a Picatinny rail gives shooters a solid base for mounting optics. The included Konus 3-9x40mm BDC scope mounts via DuraSight rings giving hunters a complete ready to hunt optical setup out of the box. A trigger guard actuated breeching lever and CVA s finger removable Quick-Release breech plug keep loading and cleaning straightforward in the field. The fixed OD Green synthetic stock includes an adjustable comb with two cheek risers raising the cheek rest a quarter inch or a half inch depending on the shooter s preference and whether a scope or open sights are in use. An adjustable length of pull with a removable spacer lets the rifle be tailored for different body sizes or layered clothing through the hunting season. The semi-vertical grip and ambidextrous palm swell along with an ambidextrous reversible hammer spur make the rifle comfortable and usable for right or left handed hunters alike. A CrushZone recoil pad softens felt recoil and CVA s solid aluminum PalmSaver ramrod makes loading more comfortable with every shot.
