Champion Targets Centerfire Hanging Gong Features The Champion Centerfire Hanging Gong Target is built from 1/2 steel giving it the mass and hardness needed to withstand repeated centerfire pistol and rifle impacts without excessive cratering. Its 9.5 round steel plate provides a reasonably sized aiming point that delivers an unmistakable audible ring the instant it is hit giving shooters immediate feedback without needing to walk downrange to check hits. This instant confirmation speeds up practice sessions considerably compared to paper targets since shooters can keep their eyes and focus on the next shot rather than stopping to inspect results. Rated to handle multiple calibers the plate resists excessive wear even under a steady diet of range sessions. The target hangs from a sturdy steel stand engineered specifically to support the weight and impact forces generated by centerfire ammunition. Swiveling support arms allow the stand to settle and stabilize after each hit keeping the gong hanging true and ready for the next shot rather than swinging wildly out of position. This stability is particularly useful for shooters working on follow-up shot speed since a steady target lets them track hits accurately shot after shot. Reusable and built to last the Champion Centerfire Hanging Gong Target gives any range setup a durable audible steel target option.
