CCI Ammunition Rimfire Shotshell Features The CCI Rimfire Shotshell lets any .22 LR rifle or pistol double as a close-range shotgun which is a real advantage for anyone who already carries a rimfire firearm around the farm or property. Instead of a single bullet each shell disperses a payload of fine #12 shot spreading pellets across a wider area to make hitting a small fast-moving pest far easier than a single point of impact allows. CCI backs the load with consistent propellant charges and dependable rimfire priming so every shell fires reliably and patterns the same way as the one before it. A muzzle velocity of 1000 fps keeps the shot moving fast enough to be effective on snakes rats and other small pests within typical close-range encounters. Because this shotshell load ships in a 2000-round case it suits shooters and property owners who go through rimfire pest-control ammunition in volume rather than buying box by box. The brass case construction is built for reliable rimfire function shot after shot so shooters can count on consistent performance across the entire case. This load is purpose-built for pest elimination not big game or target shooting making it a dedicated tool rather than a general-purpose round. For anyone who needs an easy reliable way to handle close-range pests with a gun they already own the CCI Rimfire Shotshell is available for sale at GrabAGun.
