Brenneke Brenneke 16 Classic Magnum Features The Brenneke Classic Magnum 16 is built around the Brenneke Classic slug a design the company has refined and proven over decades of field use by hunters pursuing deer and other big game. Central to this load is Brenneke s H-type disk which the manufacturer states improves accuracy by up to 50 percent compared to slug loads without this feature. The slug itself uses a lead core with ribs angled to the right a design intended to ensure smooth passage through a shotgun s choke constriction without destabilizing the projectile s flight. A patented rear slide moves into the point of the slug after impact contributing to the terminal performance hunters depend on for ethical effective shot placement. Loaded in a 2.5 shell and launched at 1350 fps this load generates significant muzzle energy suited to taking game at typical shotgun slug hunting ranges. The 1 oz slug weight gives hunters a heavy energy dense projectile designed to deliver reliable knockdown performance on impact. Brenneke has built its name specifically around slug ammunition focusing its engineering efforts on this single category rather than spreading development across a broad shotshell lineup. The Brenneke Classic Magnum 16 Gauge slug load is available for sale at GrabAGun for hunters who want a dedicated field proven 16 Gauge slug.
