Area 419 MOD DOS Features The Area 419 MOD DOS is built as a multi functional platform with a machined in Arca Swiss plate at its core giving shooters an immediate mounting surface for Arca compatible accessories and camera gear alike. The design retains the ability to convert to Manfrotto Picatinny or the ultra light Outdoorsman attachment interfaces through separately available adapters extending its versatility well beyond a single mounting standard. Two center mounted 10/32 screw holes allow direct attachment of Really Right Stuff Arca/Pic clamps or any other 10/32 compatible clamp without an additional adapter plate. Measuring 3.5 by 9 inches the plate provides a generous surface area for gear while keeping overall bulk manageable. Despite its expanded mounting options the MOD DOS weighs only 1 pound thanks to its aluminum construction and anodized finish which also resists corrosion and wear in field conditions. Twenty seven quarter-20 mounting platforms and eight total two slot M-LOK channels give shooters extensive flexibility to attach bipods rail sections lights or other accessories across the plate s surface. When paired with gamer style shooting bags such as those from Armageddon Gear the MOD DOS doubles effectively as a lightweight tac table for prone or supported shooting positions. Finished in Flat Dark Earth the Area 419 MOD DOS Plate is for sale at GrabAGun for precision shooters who need a versatile low weight mounting platform.
