Some days call for a rod that stays right where you put it, and the Exploding Fish EVO-FX Fixed Rod Holder in the 15 degree version is made for that. A seamless 316 stainless steel sleeve, rolled and polished, holds the rod at a set 15 degree tilt inside a cast stainless base plate and top cover. A locking lever keeps the rod from shifting, and rubber parts line the sleeve and cover the lever to cut down on wear and shield the holder from chemicals and UV. Polyethylene bearings add toughness where parts move against each other. The holder is rated for 135 lb tackle, and the box includes a fastener set, isolation gasket, installation guide, and installation template.
