A straight-up rod holder that still turns is the idea behind the Exploding Fish EVO-360 Flush Mount Rotating Rod Holder in the 0 degree version. The tube sits vertical in the mount and rotates freely, so you can swing a rod around to whichever direction the day's fishing calls for. The 8.5 inch tube is housed in a mirror polished stainless steel body that accepts straight butt and curved butt rods. It works for trolling, live bait, bottom fishing, and kite fishing, and its 135 lb tackle rating covers most general fishing needs. Fasteners, an isolation gasket, and an installation template come in the box, and the holder is backed by a 5 year manufacturer's warranty.
