The Apex Ammunition S^3 Stratified(TM) Waterfowl series brings a layered-payload approach to steel waterfowl loads and the #BB x #2 blend in 12 Gauge 3" is built to handle everything from decoying ducks to high-passing geese. Each shell delivers a 1-1/4 oz payload of blended #BB and #2 zinc-plated S^3 Steel shot at a hard-hitting 1 450 FPS. Apex engineered the Stratified series around the same precision one-piece wad architecture used in their acclaimed Tungsten Super Shot (TSS) line yielding pattern consistency and downrange energy that pushes the ceiling of what steel shot can achieve.Apex Ammunition S^3 Stratified(TM) Waterfowl 12 GA 3" 1-1/4 oz #BB x #2 Steel25 rounds per box; 200 rounds per case (8 boxes)Layered #BB over #2 zinc-plated S^3 Steel shot payloadMuzzle velocity: 1 450 FPSTSS-derived one-piece wad system for superior pattern retention and uniformityNon-toxic - federally approved for all non-toxic hunting zonesAssembled in the USA - Columbus MississippiThe layered #BB and #2 payload gives hunters genuine versatility in a single shell. The larger #BB pellets deliver bone-crushing retained energy for geese and long-range pass shooting while the #2 shot fills the pattern for tight mid-range density on ducks. Zinc plating on the S^3 Steel pellets promotes consistent pellet roundness reduces deformation through the bore and improves pattern uniformity at distance. Veteran-owned and Mississippi-made Apex Ammunition loads the S^3 Stratified(TM) to the same exacting standards as their TSS line - because every shot on the water counts.
