Apex Ammunition Waterfowl S3 Steel brings premium non-toxic performance to the blind with this 12 Gauge 3-inch load pushing a 1-1/4 oz payload of #BB zinc-plated steel shot at a hard-hitting 1 450 FPS. Engineered for hunters targeting geese and large waterfowl at distance the S3 (Steel Super Shot) line leverages zinc-plated steel pellets whose surface coating fills voids in each pellet for improved spherical uniformity - translating directly to tighter more consistent patterns downrange. Apex is an American veteran-owned company out of Mississippi and their S3 Steel builds on the same proven one-piece wad architecture developed for their legendary TSS turkey loads.Product: Apex Waterfowl S3 Steel 12 Gauge 3" #BB 1-1/4 ozGauge / Shell Length: 12 Gauge / 3 inchesShot Size: #BBShot Type: Zinc-Plated Steel (S3)Payload: 1-1/4 oz (547 grains)Muzzle Velocity: 1 450 FPSWad System: Ultra-durable one-piece TSS-derived wad for barrel protection and pattern consistencyCompliance: Non-toxic / steel shot legalRounds per Box: 25Rounds per Case: 250 (10 boxes)The #BB shot size makes this load a top choice for geese and larger waterfowl delivering the pellet count and energy retention needed for clean kills at 40-50 yards with appropriate choke selection.
