Apex Ammunition brings its premium shotshell engineering to the waterfowl blind with the S3 Steel Waterfowl line. Loaded in 12 Gauge 3" shells this #3 shot load delivers 1-1/4 oz of premium zinc-coated plated steel at a hard-hitting 1 450 FPS. What sets the S3 apart from conventional steel loads is Apex's proprietary one-piece ultra-durable wad system - the same TSS-grade wad platform used in their world-renowned Tungsten Super Shot shells - engineered specifically to maintain tighter more uniform patterns at waterfowl distances.Apex Ammunition S3 Steel Waterfowl 12 Ga 3" #3 Shot 1-1/4 oz25 rounds per box; 250 rounds per case (10 boxes)Shot material: Premium plated (zinc-coated) steel - non-toxic meets all waterfowl non-toxic shot requirementsMuzzle velocity: 1 450 FPSWad system: One-piece ultra-durable TSS-grade wad for superior pattern retention#3 shot size - ideal for ducks divers and smaller geeseProven patterns at 40-50 yards with full or modified chokeFrom a Veteran-owned American manufacturer based in MississippiThe #3 shot size is a versatile choice for decoying ducks and divers at moderate ranges and the S3's premium plated steel pellets deliver consistent sphericity for more predictable dense patterns than standard steel loads.
