The LMT Defense MARS-L Specwar 5.56mm Short Barreled Rifle with 12.5" barrel is LMT's current flagship do-all carbine, delivering exceptional reliability and soft-shooting performance in a compact package. The 12.5" mid-length gas system features a purpose-driven gas port and cryogenically treated, chrome-lined barrel that provides smooth, reliable cycling with reduced recoil-ideal for both suppressed and unsuppressed use. Paired with the 11.5" MLR M-LOK handguard, this SBR offers generous accessory mounting space while maintaining the legendary rigidity and heat dissipation of LMT's patented Monolithic Rail Platform. Machined from a single aerospace aluminum forging, the true MRP upper locks the barrel extension with a full 360-degree engagement for unmatched accuracy and allows lightning-fast barrel swaps with perfect return to zero. The ambidextrous MARS-L lower receiver includes full left- and right-handed controls, an ergonomic G2 grip, enhanced trigger guard, AXLE two-stage trigger, and SOPMOD stock for intuitive operation under any conditions. Every component is built to the highest military standards, including a standard full-auto rated M16 BCG and ambidextrous charging handle. For professionals, law enforcement, and serious shooters who demand the ultimate in American-made innovation and performance, the LMT Specwar 12.5" 5.56 SBR sets the new standard.
