The FN High Power(TM) brings one of the most influential handgun designs in history firmly into the modern era. Inspired by John Moses Browning's legendary 1935 Hi-Power, FN's reimagining preserves the unmistakable profile and single-action shooting experience while integrating contemporary ergonomics, higher capacity, and fully ambidextrous controls expected by today's shooters. Chambered in 9mm, this stainless steel variant features an industry-leading 17+1 round capacity-unprecedented for a Hi-Power-pattern pistol-without compromising balance or handling. The forged frame and slide are paired with a hammer-forged, target-crowned 4.7" barrel, delivering excellent accuracy and long-term durability. A polished chamber and feed ramp ensure reliable cycling with a wide range of factory ammunition, aided further by an oversized ejection port. Ergonomics are thoroughly modernized. The pistol includes ambidextrous safeties and slide stops, along with a reversible magazine release to accommodate both right- and left-handed shooters. Driftable steel blackout sights using the FN 509 dovetail pattern allow easy upgrades or replacements, while the single-action trigger breaks cleanly at approximately 5 pounds for precise shot control. Customization is a core strength of the FN High Power. The pistol ships with two interchangeable polymer grip sets and is compatible with seven optional G10 or wood grip styles, allowing shooters to tailor both feel and appearance. Tool-less takedown simplifies maintenance, eliminating traditional pins and bushings while preserving the pistol's classic mechanical character. Specifications.
