Blackout Dynamics Quantum DTL-X Helix 6mm ARC Rifle 18" Stainless Steel Barrel - Slick Side Upper - Precision Long-Range Platform The Blackout Dynamics Quantum DTL-X Helix 6mm ARC rifle delivers precision engineering for long-range shooting. Featuring an 18-inch stainless steel precision lapped barrel, Dual Taper Lock mounting system, and Helix Gas Regulating Barrel System, this rifle provides exceptional accuracy and reliability. The slick side upper receiver eliminates the forward assist for streamlined profile. Chambered in 6mm ARC for superior ballistics and long-range performance. Black finish. Includes one 10-round magazine, Zero short reset trigger, Stryker ambidextrous charging handle, Plan B muzzle device, M-LOK handguard, and ambidextrous controls. Dual Taper Lock (DTL) System The Dual Taper Lock system works in conjunction with proprietary tapered barrel extension and tapered barrel, providing a "push-pull" relationship that ensures bore centricity between upper receiver and barrel. This mounting system delivers exceptional rigidity and maintains barrel alignment under extreme impacts or trauma. The main barrel nut is also compatible with Mil-Spec barrels by reversing it. Thermal expansion rings featured on the DTL barrel guide the barrel to expand in the direction of the bore rather than deflecting and shifting point of impact during prolonged shooting. Helix Gas Regulating Barrel System The Helix Gas Regulating Barrel System represents a different approach to gas adjustment, prioritizing extreme reliability and easy maintenance. This is not merely an adjustable gas block-it's a rock-solid system that works in unison with the barrel for optimum durability, critical for hard-use suppressed firearms. The integrated design ensures consistent function across varying ammunition types and suppressed or unsuppressed configurations. 18" Stainless Steel Precision Lapped Barrel The 18-inch stainless steel barrel starts with premium 416-R stainless steel bar that is gun-drilled and reamed with 5R rifling. Increased cycle times and frequent tool changes maintain tighter tolerances across the entire production run. The barrel is then lapped to reduce tooling marks and achieve superior bore finish. The blank is fully stress relieved and precision air gauged before profiling, threading, and chambering. The stainless steel construction provides exceptional accuracy potential for long-range precision shooting. 6mm ARC Chambering The 6mm ARC (Advanced Rifle Cartridge) chambering delivers superior long-range ballistics in an AR-15 platform. This cartridge provides excellent accuracy, flatter trajectory, and less wind drift compared to traditional 5.56 NATO while maintaining manageable recoil. The 6mm ARC excels at extended ranges, making this rifle ideal for precision shooting and long-range applications. Exceptionally Rigid Handguard System The proprietary handguard mount delivers extreme rigidity between upper receiver and handguard through the dual taper mounting system. Precision-drilled anti-rotation pins provide perfect monolithic-like alignment and anti-rotational rigidity. Five sides of full-length M-LOK slots plus two additional slots at the front create a partial seven-sided M-LOK handguard for extensive accessory mounting capability. Slick Side Upper Receiver The slick side upper receiver eliminates the forward assist assembly for reduced weight and streamlined profile. This design proves popular with shooters who prefer a cleaner upper receiver without the forward assist paddle. Zero Short Reset Trigger The Zero trigger features zero pre-travel and zero post-travel combined with short, positive reset design. Exceptionally smooth, crisp trigger break enables fast, accurate shooting. The trigger delivers competition-grade performance in a duty-ready package. Stryker Ambidextrous Charging Handle The ambidextrous charging handle allows multiple methods of manipulation regardless of shooting side or position. The extended latches provide positive purchase for reliable operation even with gloves. 45/90Adeg Selector The modular safety selector allows easy conversion from standard 90Adeg to 45Adeg throw by removing detent pressure and rotating the drum 180Adeg inside the lower receiver. The shorter 45Adeg throw enables faster transitions between safe and fire positions. Blackout Dynamics Bolt Carrier Group The carrier is manufactured from 8620 steel while the shot-peened bolt is made from 9310 steel. Bolts are batch high-pressure tested and individually magnetic particle inspected after heat-treat to ensure no microcracks. This rigorous quality control ensures reliability and longevity. Plan B Muzzle Device The Plan B compatible muzzle device enables fast, secure suppressor attachment for Plan B equipped suppressors. Ambidextrous Controls The ambidextrous magazine release facilitates operation for left-handed shooters while ensuring magazines drop free easily. The ambidextrous bolt release enables faster reloads from either side. The enhanced bolt catch/release increases ergonomics for improved weapon manipulation. Single Point Sling Mount Billet steel low-profile rear QD plate features anti-rotation limits for ambidextrous sling use. The robust construction withstands the demands of tactical and competition use.
