Knipex XL Adjustable Water Pump Pliers More Grip. Less Muscle. When the job calls for large-diameter pipes, oversized nuts, or fittings that a standard 10" or 12" tool can't reach around, this is the pliers you want on your bench. The Cobra XL locks onto the workpiece with one hand movement and stays put without you squeezing the handles together. That self-locking geometry is the reason you can put all your effort into turning instead of fighting the tool. Push the button, set it directly on the component, and it adapts. Twenty-seven adjustment positions mean you land on a grip width that fits the workpiece and keeps your hand in a comfortable position no matter the size. Forged from chrome vanadium electric steel and multi-stage oil-hardened, this tool is built to take punishment on the heavy end of the job list. Features 16" overall length handles large-diameter pipes up to 3-1/2" round and nuts up to 3-3/4" hex capacity Push-button jaw adjustment sets position directly on the workpiece with no unintentional joint slipping Self-locking jaw geometry clamps onto pipes and nuts automatically so you can put full effort into the turn 27 adjustment positions fine-tune jaw width for exact fit on different workpiece sizes and a hand-friendly grip Induction-hardened serrated teeth at approx. 61 HRC low wear and reliable bite on round, hex, square, and flat components Box-joint design with double guide eliminates tilt and flex under load for high stability Chrome vanadium electric steel, forged and multi-stage oil-hardened tough material construction rated to DIN ISO 8976 Pinch guard protects fingers from being caught in the joint during operation | Knipex | Xl Adjustable Water Pump Pliers 16"
