Knipex Wire Rope Shears - Polished Forged Steel Cut It. Crimp It. Done. Cable housing and housing ends are two separate jobs on every cable swap, and most mechanics keep two tools on the bench to handle them. These wire rope shears change that. The polished forged head cuts cleanly through wire rope, piano wire, and copper cable, then switches over to one of two built-in crimping dies to seat end caps on Bowden sheaths or press ferrules onto traction cables, no extra tool needed. A bolted joint keeps the blades tracking precisely with zero backlash, and it stays adjustable as the tool wears in. The internal opening spring returns the jaws automatically after each cut, which adds up fast in a busy service session.
