The Vibram FiveFingers Trailope barefoot trail running shoe puts a Vibram Megagrip outsole under the foot for traction on dry and wet terrain, while a debris-resistant wing overlay around the toes helps limit dirt and trail debris. The thin sole keeps natural feedback coming through, so footing on mixed, uneven ground registers directly in the foot. This minimalist toe shoe suits runners who want grip and a secure fit close to the ground. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"On a rocky descent, the protective layer inside the sole disperses the impact of a sharp stone, so I still read the ground without feeling the point of the rock."
