evo.com | Ortovox Airbags > The Ortovox Avabag LiTRIC Tour is the backcountry companion that's got your back, literally. Ultralight and modular, it pairs a best in class electronic avalanche airbag with smart ski tourer features like ski carry, rope attachments, and an ice axe holder, all in a package light enough that you'll forget you're wearing safety gear until you need it. Warning Wearing an airbag backpack is no guarantee of survival in an avalanche. Backcountry travelers are highly advised to educate themselves in snow stability assessment, route finding, and companion rescue and carry all of the conventional avalanche gear in addition to the airbag. LiTRIC The electronic airbag system is lightweight, reliable and easy to use. The electronic system can be fully charged in approx. 25 minutes via USB-C and activation can be tested any number of times at no additional cost. The lack of a cartridge means: more space, no weighing necessary, no cartridge disposal, no travel limitations. One charge enables at least two activations. When switched ON its operation time is approx. 60 hours, which allows for multi-day tours with no need for recharging. Its operating temperature ranges from -30degC to +45degC.
