evo.com | Ortovox Airbags > The Ortovox LiTRIC Tour 40L Avabag Airbag Pack is built for serious missions deep into big-mountain terrain. With a massive 40L of storage, rope and ice axe attachments, and dialed organization for all your technical gear, it's engineered for multi-day tours and demanding objectives. Backed by the lightweight, cartridge-free LiTRIC electronic airbag system, this pack delivers uncompromising safety, relentless durability, and the muscle to handle the harshest alpine environments. LiTRIC The electronic airbag system is lightweight, reliable and easy to use. The electronic system can be fully charged in approx. 25 minutes via USB-C and activation can be tested any number of times at no additional cost. The lack of a cartridge means: more space, no weighing necessary, no cartridge disposal, no travel limitations. One charge enables at least two activations. When switched ON its operation time is approx. 60 hours, which allows for multi-day tours with no need for recharging. Its operating temperature ranges from -30degC to +45degC. Large Main Compartment No Refill Needed Charges via USB-C Warning Wearing an airbag backpack is no guarantee of survival in an avalanche. Backcountry travelers are highly advised to educate themselves in snow stability assessment, route finding, and companion rescue and carry all of the conventional avalanche gear in addition to the airbag.
