"Men's Merrell® Nova 4 Waterproof: If you spend time on the trail in unpredictable conditions, the Nova 4 Waterproof is a men's trail shoe built to keep up. It pairs sneaker-like comfort with a waterproof membrane that seals out water while still allowing moisture to escape, so your feet stay dry without feeling trapped. The FloatPro Foam midsole keeps the ride lightweight and comfortable mile after mile, and the Merrell Quantum Grip rubber outsole gives you confident traction across demanding trail terrain.Under the foot, a removable EVA foam footbed treated with Cleansport NXT handles natural odor control, and the 50% recycled mesh footbed cover adds a layer of comfort you'll notice on longer outings. The elastic lace keeper holds your laces in place, and the construction uses 100% recycled laces and webbing throughout. If you size up in trail footwear, note that this shoe fits best when ordered a half size up. It's a neutral shoe, so there's no added medial post or motion control - just a stable, cushioned platform that works with your natural stride. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I really like recommending the Nova 4 Waterproof for guys who are on the trail regularly but don't want something that feels heavy or stiff. The FloatPro midsole keeps it feeling light, and the waterproofing actually works without making the shoe feel like a boot. It's a solid everyday trail option when the weather isn't cooperating."" - Dave, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, San Diego, CAWho It's Best ForIf you're a trail runner or hiker who deals with wet conditions and wants a neutral trail shoe that doesn't sacrifice comfort for protection, the Nova 4 Waterproof is worth a close look.
