"Women's adidas® Adizero Adios Pro 5: The Women's adidas Adizero Adios Pro 5 is a high-performance road racing shoe built for runners who demand speed and precision on race day and fast tempo runs. Underfoot, the LIGHTSTRIKE PRO foam compresses at impact and rebounds quickly through toe-off, delivering maximum cushioning with efficient energy return. The ride is responsive rather than soft, which means it stays lively across the full distance of a hard effort. The ENERGYRIM - a carbon-fibre infused construction - channels energy return directly underfoot for an uninterrupted push-off during each stride. The Adizero LIGHTLOCK upper system uses a one-way stretch woven with external locking bands that contour closely to the foot, while anti-slip heel foam pods keep the heel firmly in place during aggressive road running. The LIGHTTRAXION outsole uses a zoned grip layout to reduce thickness and weight without sacrificing traction, and Continental™ rubber at the toe-off zone provides a no-slip transition when it matters most. Together, these systems create a shoe that stays secure and efficient from the first mile through the finish line. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I took the Adizero Adios Pro 5 out for a hard tempo run and was immediately struck by how locked-in the heel felt - no slipping, no adjusting, just clean turnover. The LIGHTSTRIKE PRO underfoot keeps the energy moving forward so you're not losing anything at toe-off."" - Sawyer, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, Wilmette ILWho It's Best ForThe Women's adidas Adizero Adios Pro 5 is best for neutral runners who want a fast, responsive road racing flat for race day, tempo runs, and speed workouts.
