"Men's adidas® Adizero Adios Pro 5: The Men's adidas Adizero Adios Pro 5 is a high-performance road racing shoe built for runners who demand speed on race day and fast-paced training runs. Underfoot, the LIGHTSTRIKE PRO foam compresses at impact and rebounds quickly through toe-off, delivering a responsive ride that holds up across hard efforts. The shoe sits firmly in adidas' Adizero racing lineup as a tool built for speed and agility. The LIGHTLOCK upper system uses a one-way stretch woven construction with external locking bands that contour closely to the foot, keeping the fit secure without adding bulk. Anti-slip heel foam pods reinforce lockdown at the back of the foot, which means the heel stays planted during aggressive toe-off on road running surfaces. Underfoot, the carbon-fibre infused ENERGYRIM provides uninterrupted energy return directly beneath the foot with each stride. The LIGHTTRAXION outsole uses a zoned grip design that reduces thickness and weight while maintaining traction, and Continental™ rubber in the forefoot supports a clean, no-slip transition at toe-off. For neutral runners targeting faster road running efforts, the combination of a locked-down fit and a responsive midsole makes the Adios Pro 5 a focused option for race day and tempo runs. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I took the Adizero Adios Pro 5 out for a tempo run and the heel lockdown was immediately noticeable - my foot stayed planted through every push-off without any slipping.
