Zink Power Hen PH-2 Features The Zink Power Hen PH-2 uses a double reed design that wrangles an impressive range of pure duck sounds while avoiding the over-blow squeak that single reed calls often produce under pressure. This makes it more forgiving for hunters who are still developing their air control and cadence on the call. The double reed setup still allows for the full range of mallard vocalizations from soft feeding chuckles to loud attention-grabbing hail calls. Its Gun Smoke finish gives the call a distinct look in the blind or vest. Because the PH-2 is built to be easier to run than a single reed while retaining realistic tone it suits hunters calling in a variety of conditions from close-in decoy spreads to longer-range attention-getting calls. The double reed construction also tends to be more tolerant of changes in temperature and humidity that can affect reed performance throughout a hunt. This makes the Power Hen PH-2 a dependable option to keep in a call lanyard alongside other calls for different situations. For waterfowl hunters who want a call that blends ease of use with authentic duck sounds the Zink Power Hen PH-2 is a solid choice.
