Winchester Wildcat Features The Winchester Wildcat uses a striker-fired design rather than a hammer-fired system giving it faster lock time and a lighter trigger pull more like a centerfire rifle than a typical rimfire. A hemispherical firing pin improves reliability across a range of rimfire ammunition. The drop-out lower receiver assembly houses the trigger group reversible safety and bolt and removes with the push of a button for fast field cleaning from the chamber end. The precision button-rifled barrel carries a recessed target crown and is threaded 1/2x28 for suppressor use. Finished in Flat Dark Earth Perma-Cote on both the barrel and polymer receiver the Wildcat pairs with a Mossy Oak Bottomland polymer stock for a cohesive camouflage look. The rugged polymer upper receiver includes an integral Picatinny rail for mounting optics while a Picatinny rail on the underside of the forearm with rail cover included accepts lights or other accessories. A 10-round polymer rotary magazine feeds reliably and locks the bolt back after the last shot and the Wildcat also accepts magazines built for 10/22 pattern rifles. Ambidextrous magazine releases and reversible controls make this rifle comfortable for shooters of either hand.
