Winchester Wildcat SR Features The Winchester Repeating Arms Wildcat SR uses a striker fired design rather than a traditional hammer giving it a faster lock time and lighter more consistent trigger pull than many rimfire autoloaders. A hemispherical firing pin tip improves ignition reliability across a range of .22 LR ammunition. The drop out lower receiver assembly allows the bore to be cleaned from the chamber end after a simple push button release speeding up routine maintenance. A precision button rifled barrel with a recessed target crown protects the crown from dings while supporting accurate shooting. The Flat Dark Earth Perma-Cote finish covers the barrel and polymer receiver while the stock is molded in OD Green for a distinct two tone look. A 1/2x28 threaded suppressor ready muzzle comes with a knurled thread protector and the rifle ships with an integral Picatinny rail on top of the receiver for mounting optics. Dual ambidextrous magazine releases and easy to reach bolt controls make the Wildcat SR simple to run for shooters of any experience level. An adjustable cheek piece and length of pull let the stock be tailored to the individual shooter and the rifle also accepts aftermarket magazines built for 10/22 pattern rifles.
