Weatherby 307 Alpine CT Features The Weatherby 307 Alpine CT is built on the Model 307 action a 2 lug fully cylindrical design compatible with the vast range of aftermarket stocks triggers rails and mounts available today. Chambered in .338 WBY RPM the rifle is paired with a carbon fiber BSF barrel finished at 24 inches and threaded 5/8x24 for the included directional self timing muzzle brake that adds roughly 2 inches of overall length. This brake works with the Chocolate Brown Cerakote finished steel receiver and barrel to significantly reduce felt recoil from the hard hitting RPM cartridge. A Picatinny rail is machined directly into the receiver giving hunters a ready mounting surface for optics without additional gunsmithing. Weatherby partnered with Peak 44 to build the Bastion stock used on the Alpine CT a carbon fiber design weighing just 24 ounces that uses a proprietary 3D Hex recoil pad to reduce the effects of recoil on the shooter. The stock is hand painted in WYO Brown with backpack brushed accents giving each rifle a distinct camouflage pattern suited to western hunting terrain. A TriggerTech Field trigger delivers a clean consistent break while the 4 round capacity and two position safety round out a rifle built for reliability in the field. For hunters chasing a lightweight hard hitting magnum rifle for mountain and backcountry hunts the Weatherby 307 Alpine CT is available for sale at GrabAGun.
