Spyderco Chaparral Features The Spyderco Chaparral centers its design around a striking Damasteel DS93X Grabak blade manufactured using a proprietary powder metallurgy process that layers two different knife steel grades into a single structure. The result is a blade that combines genuine corrosion resistance and edge strength with a chaotic swirling pattern inspired by Norse mythology giving every Chaparral a unique visual signature. The 2.8-inch blade carries a plain edge and a full-flat grind that reveals the complexity of the Damascus pattern along its length. A thumb hole opening keeps deployment fast and ambidextrous even with gloved hands. The handle is built without liners relying instead on ivory G10 scales and a stainless steel backspacer to keep the knife light without sacrificing rigidity. At a closed length of 3.6 inches and a weight of just 2.3 ounces the Chaparral carries easily in a pocket while still offering a secure confident grip. A dependable back lock mechanism holds the blade open during use and a deep-pocket wire clip allows discreet tip-up carry on either side for true ambidextrous use. This combination of premium materials and refined ergonomics makes the Chaparral a standout for collectors and knife enthusiasts seeking an everyday carry piece with genuine craftsmanship available for sale at GrabAGun.
