Riven Stratum Features The Riven Stratum is built on a large frame non dome chassis a design choice that trades some of the ease of use found on domed calls for a broader and more versatile tonal range. That larger platform allows the call to produce both bull and cow elk sounds from the same reed setup giving hunters flexibility without switching calls mid hunt. Because the non dome design is more sensitive to air pressure and tongue placement it takes a bit more practice to run consistently than a domed call. Hunters willing to put in that practice time are rewarded with sounds that stand out in the field. As a mouth call the Stratum keeps both hands free for a bow or rifle while calling which matters most in the final seconds before a shot opportunity. Built with durable tape and latex reed construction it is designed to hold up across repeated calling sessions throughout a season. The Black and White finish keeps the call easy to spot and identify alongside other calls in a hunting pack. For elk hunters who have outgrown entry level calls and want a wider vocal range the Riven Stratum is a worthwhile step up in diaphragm calling.
