Real Avid RAV-5 Features The Real Avid RAV-5 is built around a handle crafted from aluminum and carbon fiber delivering a lightweight yet rugged grip that holds up to daily carry and hard use. The 3.4 inch drop point blade is forged from stainless steel and finished in a matte black oxide coating that resists corrosion and reduces glare during field use. A liner lock mechanism keeps the blade securely open during cutting tasks while the spring assisted opening system allows for fast confident one handed deployment when seconds count. This combination of materials and mechanism reflects Real Avid s focus on tools built for real world performance rather than just appearance. At 7.6 inches overall the RAV-5 strikes a practical balance between a blade long enough for demanding cutting tasks and a package compact enough for everyday carry. The knife is part of the broader RAV Series from Real Avid a line built around the idea of resilience and readiness for daily tasks as well as unforeseen obstacles. The black finish and stainless steel construction make the RAV-5 easy to maintain with minimal care required between uses.
