Real Avid RAV-3 Features The Real Avid RAV-3 is built around a 3.25 inch drop point blade machined from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel chosen for its balance of edge retention and ease of sharpening in the field. A black oxide finish protects the blade from corrosion while giving it a low-glare matte appearance suited to everyday carry. The liner lock mechanism holds the blade firmly open during use and the spring assisted opening lets the RAV-3 deploy quickly with minimal effort. A plain edge keeps the cutting geometry simple and effective for general utility tasks. The handle combines aluminum and stainless steel for a sturdy yet manageable grip finished in a coyote tan color with a matte texture for secure handling. A reversible pocket clip allows the knife to be carried on either side adapting to the user s preference. At 7.75 inches overall with a 3.25 inch blade the RAV-3 is compact enough for daily carry while still offering enough blade length for demanding tasks. Built as part of Real Avid s RAV Series this knife reflects a design philosophy rooted in readiness for everyday and unexpected challenges alike.
