IWI Galil Ace Gen 2 Features The IWI Galil Ace Gen 2 continues the legacy of the original Galil rifle first developed by IMI refined over five decades into today s highly reliable AK-pattern platform. The 11.8 barrel is chambered in 7.62 X 51 and feeds from a 20-round magazine giving the shooter serious stopping power in a compact pistol footprint. A reciprocating charging handle lets the shooter manipulate the action from either side and an updated trigger profile with a shortened safety throw speeds up manipulation under pressure. The adjustable sights including a tritium post give the shooter a reliable backup sighting option in low light. A free-float M-LOK handguard surrounds the barrel without contacting it improving accuracy while giving the shooter plenty of real estate to mount a light grip or sling point. The full-length two-piece Picatinny top rail runs the length of the receiver accepting a wide range of optics for the shooter s preferred setup. The included SB Tactical SBA3 pistol stabilizing brace mounts to a side-folding adapter letting the shooter fold the brace for compact storage or transport. The matte black finish on the steel frame resists wear through hard use and the IWI Galil Ace Gen 2 delivers battle-tested AK heritage in a modern accessory-ready 7.62 pistol.
