Fiocchi Rifle Ammunition Features This Fiocchi .300 AAC Blackout load is built around a 220 grain hollow point boat tail bullet a weight commonly chosen for subsonic performance in suppressed rifles. The heavier bullet keeps the round below the speed of sound in most .300 AAC Blackout barrels minimizing the supersonic crack that would otherwise accompany a suppressed shot. The hollow point nose is designed to expand reliably on impact even at reduced subsonic velocities where lighter faster bullets can struggle to open consistently. A boat tail base improves the bullet s aerodynamic efficiency helping it maintain stability as it travels downrange. Brass cased construction provides dependable extraction and ejection across a wide range of .300 AAC Blackout platforms from bolt guns to semi-automatic rifles. This combination of subsonic velocity and a heavy controlled expansion bullet makes the load well suited to suppressed hunting or training applications where reduced noise signature matters. Packaged 20 rounds to a box it is sized for a focused range session or a day in the field.
