Fiocchi Rifle Ammunition Features The Fiocchi Hyperformance .308 Win load is engineered specifically around the demands of short barreled rifles where standard ammunition often suffers reduced velocity excessive muzzle flash and a sharper report. Fiocchi tunes the powder charge to achieve a complete burn even in barrels as short as 7.5 inches which keeps muzzle flash low and reduces the unburned powder that can otherwise create a harsh loud signature. A 125 grain Super Shock Tip bullet is paired with this load specifically because it is selected to deliver maximum ballistic and terminal performance from a shortened barrel where velocity and expansion can otherwise fall short of a standard length rifle. Muzzle velocity reaches 3250 feet per second giving solid terminal performance despite the reduced barrel length. Brass cased construction offers reliable extraction and the corrosion resistance shooters expect from quality centerfire rifle ammunition. Because the load is tuned to burn cleanly even in very short barrels it is also rated safe for use with a suppressor an important consideration for shooters running compact hearing safe setups. Packed 20 rounds per box this ammunition is suited to range testing and confirming zero on a short barreled .308 platform before deploying it further.
