DPMS AR-15 Upper Receiver Features The DPMS AR-15 Complete Upper is forged from 7075-T6 aluminum and machined to MIL-SPECS giving builders a receiver that mates reliably with standard mil-spec lower receivers and components. A Black hardcoat anodized finish protects the aluminum from wear and corrosion standing up to repeated use and handling during builds cleaning and range sessions. M4 feed ramps are integrated into the upper s design a feature that improves reliability when feeding a variety of magazine types and ammunition by smoothing the path from magazine to chamber. This upper arrives as a complete flat-top unit ready to accept a bolt carrier group and barrel assembly without additional machining. Both the ejection port cover and forward assist come pre-installed on this upper saving the builder time and effort compared to sourcing and installing those components separately. Measuring 9.60 inches long and 3.10 inches wide the upper is sized to standard AR-15 dimensions for compatibility with the wide range of handguards barrels and other components available on the platform. Manufactured in the USA by a mil-spec manufacturer this upper reflects the quality control standards that serious AR builders look for in a receiver. Whether assembling a new rifle from the ground up or replacing a damaged upper the DPMS AR-15 Complete Upper is available for sale at GrabAGun.
