DNT Optics Hound Features The DNT Optics Hound is built around a high sensitivity 18 mK thermal sensor with 12 micron pixels giving it the ability to detect even the slightest heat signatures against a cluttered background. AI-enhanced Image Super Resolution processing sharpens the thermal image further helping the user pick out camouflaged game in sunlit fields or track movement through total darkness with exceptional clarity. The 2-8x magnification range and 35mm objective give the Hound versatility across both close range scanning and longer distance observation. This combination of sensor sensitivity and digital enhancement makes the Hound equally capable whether the hunter is working thick brush at close range or glassing open terrain at distance. A powerful built-in laser rangefinder measures distances from 5 to 1200 yards giving the user fast reliable range data without needing a separate device. That range data feeds directly into an integrated ballistic calculator which instantly generates a precise aiming solution by combining the laser reading with the user s custom ballistic profile. Whether stalking nocturnal game through thick cover taking long range rifle shots across open fields or fine tuning aim for crossbow hunting in dense forest the Hound adapts its accuracy to the environment and method of hunting. At 10.93 ounces and powered via USB-C with a 5 hour battery life the DNT Optics Hound is a compact capable thermal handheld for serious hunters who need detection and a ranging solution in one unit.
