DNT Optics Hydra Features The DNT Optics Hydra is built around a 12 micron thermal sensor with sensitivity of 18mK or better capturing fine detail even in challenging thermal scenes. The 256x192 resolution display refreshes at 50 Hz giving a smooth lag-free image as a shooter tracks a moving target. DNT s proprietary Image Super Resolution algorithm steps in when the shooter digitally zooms preserving image clarity where ordinary thermal optics typically lose definition. A field of view of 18.40 to 13.80 yards at 100 yards across the 3-12x magnification range balances a wide scanning view with the ability to zoom in for positive identification. A 1024x768 micro-OLED display renders the thermal image with sharp contrast and 32GB of onboard memory allows the user to capture and store images or video for later review. Powered by an 18650 battery with up to 5.5 hours of runtime and rechargeable via 5V USB-C the Hydra is ready for extended use in the field without frequent battery swaps. At 8 long and with 65mm of eye relief the scope mounts comfortably on a hunting rifle. The DNT Optics Hydra thermal riflescope is available for sale at GrabAGun for hunters who need dependable thermal detection after dark.
