DNT Optics Hydra Features The DNT Optics Hydra is built around a 12 micron thermal sensor rated to 18 mK or better sensitivity delivering crisp detailed thermal images even in challenging conditions. Its proprietary Image Super Resolution algorithm pushes past the limitations of standard digital zoom preserving image definition as the shooter zooms from 2x to 8x magnification. A 384x288 sensor paired with a 1024x768 Micro-OLED display gives the shooter a clear detailed sight picture through the 25mm objective. With 65mm of eye relief the Hydra provides a comfortable viewing distance that reduces eye strain during extended observation or shooting sessions. This combination of sensor resolution and display clarity lets the Hydra hold its sight picture together at the top of its zoom range where lesser thermal optics tend to break down into a soft blocky image. Power comes from an 18650 battery charged via a 5V USB-C port delivering approximately 4.5 hours of runtime on a single charge for extended field use. The scope includes 32GB of onboard memory for storing images or video captured in the field letting a hunter or shooter document a hunt or a range session without carrying a separate recording device. At 8 inches in length and 13.4 ounces in weight the Hydra stays compact and manageable on a variety of rifle platforms adding minimal bulk or front-heaviness to a hunting rifle or a tactical setup. Finished in a durable Matte Black coating this thermal riflescope is a capable option for hunters and shooters who need reliable thermal performance across a full night of field use for sale at GrabAGun.
