Civivi Knives Brazen Features The Civivi Brazen is built around a 3.46 inch tanto blade made from D2 steel a tool steel prized for its high wear resistance and edge retention in demanding cutting tasks. A flat grind keeps the blade strong through the edge while still cutting efficiently and the stonewashed finish resists fingerprints while giving the blade a durable low-maintenance look. Hardened to 58-60 on the Rockwell scale the D2 steel holds an edge through extended use before requiring resharpening. The blade can be opened via a flipper or a thumb stud giving the user flexibility in how they deploy the knife depending on grip and situation. A liner lock secures the blade open during use offering a reliable lockup that resists unintentional closing under pressure. The handle is made from black textured G10 a lightweight and highly durable material that maintains grip even in wet conditions. At 3.91 ounces with a closed length of 4.51 inches the Brazen is compact enough for daily pocket carry while still offering a full-size blade for cutting tasks. Ambidextrous in operation and finished with an included pocket clip the Civivi Brazen is a well-rounded folder for users who want a tanto blade with proven materials.
