Berry s Manufacturing Superior Features Berry s Superior .223 Rem / 5.56 NATO bullets are manufactured around some of the most consistent jackets and tightest tolerances available to the modern hand loader making them a dependable choice for high volume reloading. Each 55 grain projectile carries a .224 inch diameter and a boat tail base a design that reduces drag in flight and contributes to the bullet s .245 ballistic coefficient. A sectional density of .157 reflects the bullet s ability to retain velocity and penetrate effectively relative to its caliber and weight. The full metal jacket boat tail design is well suited to target practice load development and general range use where expansion is not the priority. Because this is a component bullet and not loaded ammunition reloaders gain full control over powder charge seating depth and overall cartridge length when building their own .223 Rem or 5.56 NATO ammunition. The 1500 count packaging offers a substantial supply for high volume shooters or reloaders stocking up for an extended season of practice. Consistent jacket quality across the entire batch helps reduce shot to shot variation a key factor for anyone working up a precise handload. These Berry s Superior bullets are for sale at GrabAGun for reloaders seeking dependable affordable components for their 5.56mm and .223 caliber projects.
