Because the plate offers a perfectly flat surface with no extraction rim there is no possibility of the plate contacting the seating sleeve which is one of the easiest ways to introduce runout during the seating process. Precision ground from stainless steel the plate is guaranteed flat and offers substantially more contact surface than a traditional shellholder design. This translates directly into more consistent repeatable seating depth across an entire batch of ammunition. This seating plate is built exclusively for the Zero Reloading Press and is not intended for use with other presses. Because it has no extraction rim by design some cases may need to be removed from the seating die by hand rather than releasing freely with gravity.
