Area 419 Hellfire 2P Self Timing Brake Features The Area 419 Hellfire 2P Self Timing Brake is engineered from the ground up rather than copying existing self timing designs focusing on effective recoil control easy installation and added versatility. The brake will not turn as the collar is torqued down eliminating the guesswork of lining up ports during installation. A simple round knurled nut requires no tools to time the brake once it is in place. Return to zero is excellent so removing and reinstalling the brake does not require re-zeroing the rifle. Installation starts by torquing the universal adapter onto the barrel with a 5/8 inch wrench a step that only needs to happen once. The brake and collar assembly then left hand threads onto the adapter until nearly snug after which the brake is rotated level and pushed in to lock onto the taper before the collar is hand tightened. Made from steel with a 5/8x24 thread pattern and covering 6.5mm up to .30 caliber bullets this brake suits semi-automatic and hunting rifles with barrels of 20 inches or less.
