Hodgdon US869 Smokeless Powder 1 lb Canister Hodgdon US869 is a true magnum spherical rifle powder built for heavy bullets in big, overbore rifle cartridges. This dense propellant allows shooters to load enough powder to reach maximum velocities in large-capacity magnum cases, and it is minimally affected by varying temperatures. Overview US869 is a superior choice in .50 BMG, where it yields high velocity and great accuracy with 750- to 800-grain projectiles, making it a fine 1000-yard match propellant as well as a strong performer in ultra magnum rifle cartridges.
