The Icelantic Nomad 106 rebuilds a best-selling freeride ski from the ground up, adding eight carbon stringers for extra pop and FLY-Cap construction that trims swing weight without shrinking the ski's footprint. A Poplar wood core keeps the flex lightweight and responsive, while the Free Rocker Profile balances surfy float in soft snow with enough underfoot stability to charge through variable conditions. The redesign widens the waist to a true 106mm, built for skiers who want one ski that handles big lines, tight trees, and natural features without swapping gear. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I dropped into a line that started firm and chalky up top and turned into three feet of untracked powder by the bottom, and the ski never once felt like it was choosing a side. The carbon stringers gave me enough pop to pop off a natural lip near the trees without the tail washing out on landing."
