XS Sight Systems Lever Rail Features The XS Sights Lever Rail is machined to Picatinny specifications from hard-coat anodized aluminum mounting directly over the Rossi R95 receiver using the existing screw holes for a straightforward DIY installation. Because the rail can be used for mounting directly over the receiver or moved forward for a scout scope or red dot setup shooters gain real flexibility in choosing an optic position that fits their shooting style. The matte black anodized finish resists wear from regular handling and field use. This rail is purpose built for the R95 chambered in .30-30 with a round barrel and factory front sight blade and ramp screwed onto the barrel. Included with the rail is an all-steel Ghost Ring rear sight that is fully adjustable for windage and elevation shipping with two apertures at .230 and .191 inch inside diameter to suit different lighting conditions. The large ghost ring opening gives a wide field of view for fast target acquisition at typical lever gun ranges. A matching White Stripe front sight replaces the factory blade and ramp with a blued steel body and painted white stripe face giving high contrast visibility against most backgrounds. Because the rear sight relocates from the barrel to the receiver some rezeroing is expected after installation and XS backs the front sight with their No Questions Asked warranty for alternate heights if needed.
