Umarex Marlin Revolver Features The Umarex USA Marlin Revolver is built around a single action design that channels the look and feel of a classic lever gun era sidearm into a modern CO2 platform. A single 12 gram CO2 cartridge powers the action and the tool needed to install and remove that cartridge is built right into the right side grip panel so no extra tools are needed in the field. The 18 round integral magazine keeps a healthy supply of steel BBs on hand reducing the downtime between reloads during an extended plinking session. With a 5 inch barrel pushing BBs to 400 feet per second the Marlin Revolver offers enough consistent velocity for plinking tin cans and informal target shooting alike. Care and maintenance are kept simple on this air pistol with a reminder to place a drop of silicone oil such as RWS Chamber Lube on the tip of the CO2 cartridge before every insertion to protect the valve seal. Leaving a charged cartridge in the pistol between sessions is discouraged since the constant pressure can wear down that seal over time and shorten its service life. The ambidextrous friendly grip panel design makes servicing the CO2 chamber quick and intuitive for new and experienced shooters alike. Overall the Marlin Revolver is a dependable low maintenance choice for anyone wanting an enjoyable backyard shooting companion.
