Ultradyne UD6 Chassis Features The Ultradyne USA UD6 Chassis is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum giving the Ruger American short action a rigid repeatable bedding surface in place of the factory stock. A rear Picatinny mounting interface replaces the traditional buffer tube connection allowing the buttstock to detach quickly for transport or storage while still returning to the same point of impact once reattached. The chassis accommodates AICS pattern magazines giving the shooter access to a wide range of aftermarket and factory magazines for faster reloads. A 1.35 maximum barrel diameter accommodates most factory and aftermarket barrel contours without requiring additional fitting. Grip options include a standard mil spec A2 pistol grip or Ultradyne s own adjustable grip system which lets the shooter tune trigger finger distance to their exact preference for a more natural trigger press. An adjustable thumb rest further refines the shooter s position behind the rifle improving repeatability from shot to shot. Finished in a bronze Cerakote coating the UD6 Chassis resists wear and corrosion while giving the rifle a distinct premium appearance.
