Thompson Center T17 Breech Plug Cleaner Features The Thompson Center T17 Breech Plug Cleaner is formulated specifically to penetrate and clean the flash hole of a breech plug where fouling buildup most directly affects reliable ignition. It is designed to work on black powder substitutes including Triple Seven which can leave behind tough residue that ordinary solvents struggle to break down. Because no brushing or scrubbing is required shooters can simply soak the parts and let the formula do the work. This saves time at the cleaning bench after a day at the range or in the field. The cleaner is packaged in a 0.65 ounce squeeze tube along with a dipping basket making it easy to fully submerge a breech plug or other small parts for a thorough soak. The compact squeeze tube format allows for controlled dispensing without waste or mess. A well-cleaned flash hole directly improves ignition reliability which matters most on a cold morning hunt when a misfire cannot be afforded. Muzzleloader shooters who want dependable ignition every time will find the T17 Breech Plug Cleaner a simple addition to their maintenance kit.
