Shield Sights RMSc RMS/SMS Mount Features The Shield Sights RMS/SMS Mount is engineered specifically to fit the Heckler and Koch MP5 platform giving shooters a direct path to mounting Shield s popular RMS SMS and AMS series red dot optics without resorting to a universal or improvised solution. Because the mount matches the Shield footprint exactly the optic sits low and secure on the receiver preserving a natural cheek weld and fast target acquisition. A purpose built mount like this removes the guesswork and potential instability that comes with aftermarket adapter plates designed for multiple optics brands. Its black finish matches the typical finish found on most MP5 variants keeping the overall look clean and professional. Shield Sights has built a strong reputation in the red dot market for compact rugged optics favored by professional and competitive shooters alike and this mount extends that ecosystem directly onto the MP5. Mounting hardware should be considered separately as the listing notes that spacers are not included so shooters should confirm their optic and mount combination before installation. For MP5 owners looking to add a dependable red dot without a complicated or unreliable mounting solution this Shield Sights mount offers a focused well matched option. It represents a straightforward way to bring a modern aiming solution to a proven submachine gun platform.
