Remington Core-Lokt Features The Remington Core-Lokt line has filled more tags on more continents than any other hunting load since 1939 and this .300 HAMR loading brings that legacy to a modern straight-wall cartridge. As the original controlled expansion bullet the Core-Lokt s tapered copper jacket is mechanically locked to a solid lead core delivering massive 2x expansion while retaining the bulk of the bullet s original weight. That combination gives hunters deep reliable penetration paired with a wide wound channel on impact translating to fast ethical kills in the field. The 125 grain pointed soft point profile is tuned for a flat trajectory and dependable expansion across typical hunting ranges giving hunters confidence at the moment the shot counts most. Remington s cup-and-core construction has proven itself across dozens of calibers and generations of hunters offering both legacy performance and compatibility with newer cartridge platforms like .300 HAMR. The load s reliable penetration and hard-hitting performance make it a strong choice even against tougher game like hogs where bullet integrity matters most and a bullet that comes apart on impact simply will not do the job. Each box holds 20 rounds giving hunters a dependable supply for the season without needing to restock mid-hunt and the consistent lot-to-lot performance Remington is known for means fewer surprises at the range or in the stand. This Remington Core-Lokt .300 HAMR load carries forward a time-tested design that continues to be a trusted affordable choice for big game hunters who want proven performance without paying a premium for it.
