Migra Ammunition Pheasant Long Range Features The Migra Pheasant Long Range load in 12 gauge uses a 4-over-6 stacked shot configuration meaning larger #4 pellets sit ahead of smaller #6 pellets in the same 1-1/4 ounce payload which means hunters get dense pattern coverage at typical flush distances along with the retained energy of larger shot for birds that flare out further. High-brass construction supports the increased pressures needed to drive this payload to 1350 fps giving the load the downrange energy that long-tailed roosters demand. Custom-blended powders and wads developed specifically for this stacked configuration keep the pattern consistent rather than allowing the two shot sizes to separate prematurely. This is Migra s first load engineered specifically around the demands of pheasant hunting rather than a general upland application. Each box contains 25 rounds giving hunters a full day s supply for pursuing hard-flushing birds across open cover. The stacked shot design is particularly effective on late-season roosters that have grown wise to hunting pressure and tend to flush wild at greater distances. By combining dense patterning with retained energy this load helps close the gap between a clean kill and a wounded bird lost in heavy cover. The Migra Pheasant Long Range 12 gauge load is available for sale at GrabAGun for upland hunters who refuse to give up on the long shot.
